BRZRKR has “all the ingredients to become the next big comic universe”, says IMG

IMG is looking to bring the comic book brand into apparel and accessories, collectables, toys, food and beverage and location-based experiences.

IMG has signed on to helm the consumer products push for BOOM! Studios’ BRZRKR comic book series.

Created by Keanu Reeves and co-written with New York Times-bestselling comic book writer Matt Kindt, BRZRKR’s first issue launched in 2021 and went on to sell 615,000 copies. A live-action film and anime show are in the works with Netflix, alongside a novel from Random House.

On the licensing front, IMG is looking to bring the brand into apparel and accessories, collectables, toys, food and beverage and location-based experiences.
