Penguin Random House Children’s Licensing and BBC Studios are celebrating a milestone as the Bluey brand passes four million books sold in the UK through Total Consumer Market (TCM).
Ladybird, an imprint of Penguin Random House Children’s UK, has been publishing Bluey since 2021 and last year, Bluey titles appeared in the top 20 preschool chart 78 times. Where’s Bluey? remains the bestselling title overall, selling over 317, 547 copies through TCM.
Upcoming titles include Bluey’s Friends Jigsaw Book, A Magic Finger Painting Book and a range of seasonal releases, like Bluey and Bingo’s Book of Scary Things: A Lift-the-Flap Book, Halloween Trick or Treat Calendar and Let’s Do Christmas Magnet Book.
“With Bluey continuing to be one of the UK’s top performing children’s shows across Disney+, CBeebies and BBC iPlayer, it’s fantastic to see that love for the series extend beyond the screen and into a thriving Bluey book portfolio,” said Jan Paterson, Director of Books and Audio Publishing at BBC Studio.
