LEGO, GAP, adidas and more on board to celebrate Winnie the Pooh’s 100th publishing anniversary

Disney has detailed the expansive licensing slate celebrating Winnie the Pooh’s 100th publishing anniversary.

A.A. Milne’s original book was first published in October 1926 and the milestone will be celebrated throughout 2026 with new product collaborations, storytelling moments and publishing releases.

“Winnie the Pooh has inspired generations with his warmth, imagination and gentle outlook on life,” said Amanda Dhalluin, VP Global Brand Commercialization at Disney Consumer Products.

“This milestone year brings his timeless charm to fans in fresh new ways through meaningful products and creative collaborations.”

Old Navy has launched playful adult female, kids, toddler and baby apparel inspired by Winnie the Pooh and friends, GAP has introduced baby apparel featuring Pooh designs, while Carter’s also has a line of baby apparel.

Elsewhere, Primark has dropped a 100th anniversary collection, Vera Bradley has launched bags and accessories, and Funko has expanded their Pop Nooks line with new Winnie the Pooh collectibles.

Staying in toys, LEGO has two Winnie the Pooh sets – a detailed brick-built Pooh with a honey pot with movable features, and the Piglet’s Birthday Fun set featuring a posable Piglet and a birthday cake that opens to reveal Pooh’s house and the Hundred Acre Wood. The Happy Haul line from Just Play brings Winnie the Pooh to life with the blind-box Hunny Crew figures and Hunny Hugs Capsule Plush.

Also on the way is baby apparel from Kyte Baby, adult apparel and accessories from Cakeworthy, tech accessories from PopSockets and statement bags from Loungefly. Yogi Tea will also have a Winnie the Pooh honey chamomile tea while in beauty, expect Winnie the Pooh collections from Wet Brush, Wet n Wild and Mad Beauty.

Upcoming releases include a new kids’ footwear collection from adidas this June, a new addition to JAKKS Pacific’s Disney Darlings line, as well as special collections from Squishmallows, Steiff, Little Words Project and Pandora.

In publishing, highlights include Winnie the Pooh: Wonders of the Hundred-Acre Wood Treasury from Random House Children’s Books, Winnie the Pooh: The Hundred-Acre Wood Cookbook from Insight Editions, The Winnie the Pooh Book: A Centenary Celebration from DK Publishing and The Pooh Life — 100 Mindful Moments from Penguin Random House.
