Reemsborko named worldwide licensing agent outside of Asia for Ghost in the Shell

“This project is the best of both worlds – a highly revered and classic IP with an established fanbase, but with fresh content coming,” said Max Arguile of Reemsborko.

Reemsborko has been named worldwide licensing agent, outside of Asia, for Ghost in the Shell non-exclusively.

Ghost In The Shell is a seminal cyberpunk media franchise created by Masamune Shirow in 1989, centred on cyborg federal agent Motoko Kusanagi as she navigates questions of ‘identity, consciousness, and humanity’.

The manga ran until 1991 and inspired multiple anime adaptations including the 1995 film of the same name, the 2002 television series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Ghost in the Shell: Arise. The latest incarnation is a new animated TV series launching in July 2026 as a Prime Video exclusive in Japan, with other territories to follow.

Reemsborko is representing Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Ghost in the Shell: Arise and the new series The Ghost in the Shell in all territories, outside Asia, non-exclusively.

“Reemsborko continues to sign the most interesting IP out there,” said Max Arguile of Reemsborko.

“This project is the best of both worlds – a highly revered and classic IP with an established fanbase, but with fresh content coming.
