BBC Studios has appointed Shelley Macintyre as Chief Executive Officer, Brands and Licensing.
Shelley has been serving in the role on an interim basis, during which time she has provided strong leadership and continuity for the division. She has also driven commercial growth, strengthened key partnerships and shaped a long-term vision to maximise the value of BBC Studios’ IP.
“Shelley has demonstrated exceptional leadership during her time as Interim CEO,” said Tom Fussell, CEO, BBC Studios.
“Her strategic vision, commercial acumen and deep understanding of how to build global brands make her the ideal person to lead this important part of BBC Studios into its next phase of growth.
