Turning Tony Hancock’s life into a graphic novel: A talk with the creators of HANCOCK: THE LAD HIMSELF

Graphic-novel creators are set to give a talk at London’s Cartoon Museum on July 13th.

B7 Comics has announced a 45-minute panel discussion with the creative team behind the graphic novel Hancock: The Lad Himself. B7 Comics publisher Helen Quigley will chat to writer Stephen Walsh, artist Keith Page and the book’s editor John Freeman, about transforming Tony Hancock’s life into a 300-page graphic novel.

The panel will be followed by a Q&A and a chance to pick up a copy of the limited-edition book, signed by the creators. This epic tome follows the much-missed comedy icon from cradle to premature grave… Along the way, he agonises his way through life and work – even contributing his own opinion on how his story’s being told!
