Maestro Media and Supercell ready Clash Royale: The Grand Arena

Maestro Media and Supercell has detailed a new board game project in Clash Royale: The Grand Arena.

Clash Royale will make its tabletop debut via a Kickstarter campaign for The Grand Arena in September.

Designed by David Gordon, it reimagines the mobile game as a turn-based tabletop experience for two to four players and sees players build decks, manage Elixir and battle across lane-based arenas.

“One of the biggest challenges was turning a real-time game into something turn-based without losing its energy,” said designer David Gordon.

“By focusing on lanes, counter play, and quick turns, we created a system where players feel that same exciting back-and-forth momentum.”

Elsewhere, Clash of Clans: The Epic Raid will launch at select retailers, including Amazon, Walmart Canada, and Target, in July.

“Clash Royale: The Grand Arena represents the next step in expanding the Clash! franchise alongside our partners at Supercell,” said Javon Frazier, CEO and Founder of Maestro Media.
