Hot Wheels Legends Tour 2025: Mattel searches for new vehicle to reimagine as a die-cast model

Toy giant Mattel is starting its 2025 search for a vehicle to induct into the Hot Wheels Garage of Legends… And immortalise as a 1:64 scale die-cast model.

The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is now in its eighth year globally and fifth in the UK. This unique competition invites car modifiers, restorers, builders and custom constructors to create amazing vehicles.

What began as a series of US events is now a global tour for car and Hot Wheels enthusiasts alike. Fans can share their passion while competing for a chance to have real-life creations reimagined as a 1:64-scale toy…

A panel of judges looks at each entrant with a specific criteria in mind: Authenticity, Creativity and ‘Garage Spirit’… With Garage Spirit being defined as showing evidence of passion: early mornings, late nights, grit, and determination!

Partners for the UK leg of the tour are Smyths Toys Superstores, Forge Motorsport and Collecting Cars, who provide a special selection of prizes to the UK winner. This includes a merchandise bundle and a £150 Forge Motorsport voucher.
