Disneyland’s floral display swaps Mickey for Minnie to celebrate Women’s History Month

“There have been some seasonal changes over the years, but Mickey Mouse has always been the star of the show … until now!” said Horticulture Manager Sarah Day.

To mark Women’s History Month, Disneyland is changing its Mickey Mouse floral arrangement to a Minnie Mouse display.

The floral display is made up of over 1,750 individual plants, and is housed in front of Disneyland’s Main Street USA station.

“There have been some seasonal changes over the years, but Mickey Mouse has always been the star of the show … until now!” said Horticulture Manager Sarah Day.

“It’s amazing that we’re having this step for Women’s History Month, and having Minnie Mouse featured is fantastic. Minnie Mouse is just as iconic as Mickey Mouse, and she needs a little face time.”
