Terrifier video game landing later this year

Developed by Relevo, Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is a retro-inspired beat ’em up game that sees players step into the blood-soaked shoes of Art the Clown.

The Coven Films has teamed up with SelectaPlay to launch a video game based on its Terrifier franchise.

Developed by Relevo, Terrifier: The ARTcade Game is a retro-inspired beat ’em up game that sees players step into the blood-soaked shoes of Art the Clown as he disrupts movie sets. Gamers will be tasked will ‘tearing through hordes of policemen, firewomen, camera operators, stunt performers, makeup artists, and even unsuspecting civilians.’

The game also boasts an old-school chiptune soundtrack, boss battles and a co-op option for up to four players.

Demos for the game are playable now for a limited time on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 5, before the game launches on those platforms in October.
