Red Roses and Spice Girls embrark on apparel and rugby ball collaboration

“This is a really important year for us as a team and it’s fantastic to partner with a band which shares so many of the same values as we do,” said Red Roses captain Zoe Aldcroft.

England Rugby’s Women’s team the Red Roses has partnered with the Spice Girls on a collaboration spanning apparel and limited-edition rugby balls.

The partnership spans a three-piece premium Castore range, exclusive apparel drops from Fanatics and a special rugby ball produced by Gilbert.

“This is a really important year for us as a team and it’s fantastic to partner with a band which shares so many of the same values as we do and understands the dedication, hard work and perseverance it takes to reach the top and stay there,” said Zoe Aldcroft, Red Roses captain.

“We also know how critical it is that the tournament inspires lots of people, girls and boys, to get into rugby and benefit from the sport in the way that we as a team all do – friendship, strength, confidence, power, self-expression and so much more. The Spice Girls, with their huge following, will really help our sport reach new places, new fans of all ages and further boost the growth we’ve seen in recent years.”

The Spice Girls added: “We are excited to partner with the Red Roses in supporting women’s sport, particularly as this year for the first time in history there will be a female president of the RFU – that’s incredible Girl Power! We hope the whole country will join us in cheering on the team as they build on their great start.”

The range is available from Spice Girls online store www.store.thespicegirls.com, England Rugby Store online www.englandrugbystore.com and at the Allianz Stadium Store.
