Dynamite Entertainment teams with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products for Wizard of Oz graphic novel

The Wizard of Oz: The Official Film Adaptation Graphic Novel comes from Soo Lee, known for her work on ThunderCats: Cheetara and Disney Villains: Maleficent.
Dynamite Entertainment has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products for a graphic novel adaptation of The Wizard of Oz.
The Wizard of Oz: The Official Film Adaptation Graphic Novel comes from Soo Lee, known for her work on ThunderCats: Cheetara and Disney Villains: Maleficent. Lee was given unprecedented access to the original screenplay by Noel Langley, Florence Ryerson and Edgar Allan Woolf to help develop the graphic novel.
“I’m not reinventing the wheel,” said Lee.
“I’m adding my interpretation to the history of this legendary story. I had more pages to work with, so I really took my time to explore the emotional journey of Dorothy and her friends.”
The Wizard of Oz graphic novel will be available on September 30th.
