Dragon Ball theme park set to open in Saudi Arabia

The Dragon Ball theme park will cover over 500,000 square meters and feature seven different areas inspired by the original series.

A Dragon Ball theme park is coming to Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Arabia-based Qiddiya Investment Company is constructing the park as part of its Qiddiya giga project, near Saudi Arabia’s capital Riyadh.

The Dragon Ball theme park will cover over 500,000 square meters and feature seven different areas that recreate locations from the original series, such as Kame House, Capsule Corporation and Beerus’ Planet.

This theme park will also feature five ‘state-of-the-art rides’ as part of a line-up of more than 30 attractions. A 70 meter-high Shenron dragon that houses a large-scale roller coaster, is also planned, as well as hotels and restaurants.

The plans are part of a “long-term strategic partnership” between the QIC and brand owner Toei Animation.
