BBC looks to expand the world of Doctor Who with animated pre-school show

The BBC is inviting UK producers to pitch for the opportunity to produce an animated pre-school series based on Doctor Who.

The Invitation to Pitch will select a single production company to produce an original series for the BBC based on submitted treatments and budgets, and the BBC will evaluate proposals at all stages.

The BBC is looking for ideas ‘that will engage the CBeebies pre-school audience on the CBeebies channel and on BBC iPlayer’.
