Disney teams with street artist Mr Brainwash for Mickey & Friends collaboration

“We’re thrilled to see Mr Brainwash’s interpretation of Mickey Mouse come to life through high-concept visual language that reflects the aesthetic of Disney storytelling,” said Paul Gitter, EVP of Global Brand Commercialization at Disney Consumer Products.

Disney has teamed up with street artist Mr Brainwash for a collaboration presented through Clarendon Fine Art.

The partnership reimagines Disney’s Mickey & Friends characters through Mr Brainwash’s lens of ‘colour, creativity and optimism’. The ‘Dreams Come True’ collection spansg sculptures, canvases, and 14 limited-edition silkscreen prints.

Clarendon Fine Art’s flagship Mayfair gallery hosted the launch party, while the collection will also take over the Mr Brainwash Art Museum in Beverly Hills. Additional galleries globally will debut the collection in tandem.

“This collection is more than art; it’s history in the making,” said Mr Brainwash.

“To blend the timeless wonder of Disney with my artistic universe is a dream realized. Together, we are creating something unforgettable in a space that will never exist in the same way again.”

Helen Swaby, CEO at Clarendon Fine Art added: “The meeting of Disney’s timeless imagination and Mr Brainwash’s fearless creativity marks the beginning of a new creative era, defined by a body of work that feels both nostalgic and completely new. The collaboration is pure alchemy!”

Paul Gitter, EVP of Global Brand Commercialization at Disney Consumer Products, said: “Mr. Brainwash has an unrivalled ability to capture modern culture through his artwork. We’re thrilled to see his interpretation of Mickey Mouse come to life through high-concept visual language that reflects the aesthetic of Disney storytelling.”

The Disney I Mr Brainwash collection is available through Clarendon Fine Art galleries and online.
