The initiative has seen adidas debut 26 new shoes, one for each letter of the alphabet, and launches so far include collaborations with Juventus, The Simpsons and the US National Park Foundation.

The full line-up of partnerships also includes shoes inspired by Japanese fashion brand BAPE, the Boston Marathon, Shenzhen-based tea company HEYTEA, New-York-based graffiti collective Irak, LEGO, porcelain firm Meissen, UK sneaker store Pam Pam and the Miami Hurricanes football team.

ZX 9000 CONCEPTS (BOSTON MARATHON®) SHOES
The metallic silver foil upper and reflective laces nod to the heat blankets that athletes use at the finish line.

ZX 6000 JUVENTUS SHOES
This ZX 6000 boasts italian leather in Juventus’ colours with a nod to this year’s 3rd kit in the laces.

ZX 10000 KRUSTY BURGER SHOES
This collaboration with The Simpsons is inspired by Krusty the Clown and his fast-food chain, Krusty Burger, with chenille running throughout the shoe represents the character’s unmistakable hair.

ZX 10000 MEISSEN SHOES
Inspired by Meissen’s handmade designs, this launch features an elegant floral print in the style of the firm’s porcelain creations.

ZX 5000 NATIONAL PARK FOUNDATION (JOSHUA TREE) SHOES
Designed in collaboration with the US National Park Foundation, this shoe features the rich colours seen in Joshua Tree National Park.
