<p>The two designs are inspired by Young Hee and a Masked Soldier from the show, and collectors will have an equal chance of receiving either design.</p>
<p>“We are thrilled to partner with Netflix for the release of Mega Space Molly Squid Game,&#8221; said Head of Pop Mart North America, Larry Lu.</p>
<p>&#8220;This collaboration celebrates the intersection of art, pop culture, and storytelling, offering fans a limited edition collectible for one of Netflix’s biggest hits.”</p>
<p>The special edition release is available online and in Pop Mart’s 19 stores across the US for $329.99.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Netflix has provided the first look at Squid Game: Unleashed, a video game based on the hit show that lands on Netflix later this year.</strong></p>
<p>Developed by Boss Fight, a Netflix Game Studio, Squid Game: Unleashed is a 32-player party royale showdown featuring challenges from the series, as well as some new ones. Players can team up with friends, face off against enemies and race through obstacles to prove your skills and claim victory. The game will also feature daily missions and themed events inspired by the Squid Game universe.<br />
&#8220;Making games based on hit series and films is one of the most exciting opportunities we have at Netflix,&#8221; said Bill Jackson, Head of Creative at Boss Fight.</p>

<p>Funkoverse: Squid Game features four game scenarios, two of which are exclusive to this theme. Players must race to the finish line in Red Light, Green Light, or try to burst past their rivals’ defences in The Squid Game.</p>
<p>The game includes locations from the show, with characters boasting unique abilities to capture points and achieve victory.</p>
<p>An expansion includes the two-in-one figure of the Masked Manager and undercover detective Jun-ho. Players can play as the faceless Masked Manage, or remove the mask to play as Jun-ho.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Asmodee has teamed up with Netflix to launch new board games for Squid Game, Ozark and Stranger Things.</strong></p>
<p>Squid Game will see each player control a team of up to 12 members and compete in six games seen in the show: Red Light/Green Light, Dalgona, Tug of War, Marbles, Glass Bridge and Squid Game.</p>
<p>Ozark is a territory control game where players choose a faction, vie for money and control locations from the series like Lickety Splitz and the Missouri Belle. The player with the most stashed money at the end of the game wins.</p>
<p>Stranger Things: Attack of the Mind Flayer is a hidden role game that sees two teams go head-to-head to uncover who is sane and who has been possessed by the Mind Flayer.</p>
<p>“We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Netflix and Walmart for these releases,” said Steve Horvath, Asmodee North America president and head of publishing.</p>
<p>“With how much the series have resonated with viewers, our goal was to make these titles accessible to as many fans as possible. Partnering with Walmart was a natural choice to accomplish that.”</p>
<p>Ozark, Squid Game and Stranger Things: Attack of the Mind Flayer will launch on July 30th exclusively at Walmart in the US.</p>

<p>Squid Game: The Challenge, a 10-epsiode co-production with Studio Lambert, will see 456 real players enter the game in pursuit of a $4.56 million cash prize.</p>
<p>Contestants compete through a series of games inspired by the original show, plus some new additions, and recruitment is open now at SquidGameCasting.com.</p>
<p>“Squid Game took the world by storm with Director Hwang’s captivating story and iconic imagery,” said Brandon Riegg, VP of Unscripted and Documentary Series at Netflix.</p>
<p>“We’re grateful for his support as we turn the fictional world into reality in this massive competition and social experiment. Fans of the drama series are in for a fascinating and unpredictable journey as our 456 real world contestants navigate the biggest competition series ever, full of tension and twists, with the biggest ever cash prize at the end.”</p>

<p>The surprise pop-up allowed fans to take part in several games seen in the show, including Red Light Green Light, albeit with less deadly consequences if they went out of the game.</p>
<p>Fans were also given Dalgona honeycomb candy, as seen in one of the other games in the show.</p>
