The capsule collection features twelve designs that reinterpret details from historic works of art from India into contemporary interiors.

The Museum’s licensing team have recently launched Colour Stories, a curated colour system for licensees. Developed from the Museum’s collections and architectural spaces, the tool provides a ‘clear visual framework to guide the development of licensed products’.

“We’re delighted to be working with Deus Ex Gardenia on this beautiful new collection, which captures the spirit of our collections in such a contemporary yet timeless way,” said Craig Bendle, Manager, Product Licensing at the British Museum.

“Our new Colour Stories tool has been key in shaping how we approach collaborations like this, giving our partners a creative framework that stays true to the Museum’s identity, while allowing them the freedom to design products that feel fresh, relevant and inspiring.
