Design-wise, both the white front and gold parts of the helm area are nods to the cult comic book character’s hat, while the rear seating is also in a gold hue. Elsewhere, a gold ring appears on one side of the boat’s balloon, reflecting Corto Maltese’s earring.

“The OLR30SR is a vessel that transcends the ordinary, much like the hat of Corto Maltese,” said Olympic Ribs director Christos Karyofyllis.

“It’s a symbol of freedom, a nod to the enigmatic and adventurous spirit that Corto Maltese represents.
